What is a WRID code?

A WRID is a unique digital identifier assigned to each recipe. It functions similarly to systems like DOI or ISBN by providing a traceable and verifiable identity for the recipe.

How do I register on the WRID platform?

Visit the Membership Registration page, select your role (e.g., recipe author, contributor, partner), and complete the registration form.

What membership levels are available?

  • Master Culinary Patron

  • Master Recipe Editor

  • Contributor (Supporter / Media / Partner)

  • Subscriber

Can I change my membership role later?

Yes. You may request a role change by contacting support or updating your profile settings.

How can I claim authorship of a recipe?

After registering, you can submit a form to register a new recipe or claim an existing one.

Can I edit the WRID of my recipe later?

Yes, as long as the recipe has not been published yet. Once published, edits require an official update request.

Can I submit previously published recipes?

Yes. You must provide proof of original authorship, such as a publication link or an ownership certificate.

I can’t log into my account — what should I do?

Use the “Forgot Password” option to reset your credentials. If the problem continues, contact the support desk.

I’m getting an error when uploading a recipe or file — why?

Ensure the format and file size meet requirements. Supported formats include PDF, DOCX, JPG, and PNG, with a maximum size of 5MB.

Which browsers work best with WRID?
