How to Do / Instructions

Sign Up

Go to the Sign Up page. Complete the registration form with your full name, email, password, and country. Accept the terms & conditions and verify your email.

Complete Profile

Log in to your WRID Dashboard. Complete your profile: upload a profile picture, select your cooking level (Public Level, Commis Chef, etc.).

Add Recipe

Go to Add New Recipe. Enter the recipe title, ingredients, steps, cooking method, dish type, and images. Each recipe automatically receives a unique WRID code.

Access NFT

Go to the NFT menu in the dashboard. Using the "MINT YOUR NFT RECIPE" form, select the recipes you want to convert into NFTs. Your NFTs will be issued within 3–7 business days and transferred to the digital wallet you provide.

Track Progress

Check the Progress Bar in the dashboard. Once your recipes reach the required threshold, you can manually submit a publishing request. (Free publishing)

Learning Paths

Go to the Education Partners menu. Choose your preferred learning platform: Eduniversa, Coursera, Udemy, or EdX. Based on your level, access advanced courses with academic endorsement from recognized institutions.

Exams & Certificates

Register for Online Examination. Complete the course modules, take the exams, and upon passing, receive your digital certificate and WRID recognition.

WORLD GASTRONOMERS | Global Master Chefs Membership

Go to the Certification & Membership tab. Upload required documents such as your resume, recipe book, and certificates. After approval, receive international membership and your global level certificate.

Publishing & Media

Go to Publishing Options. Once your recipes reach the required threshold, you can publish your book on Amazon, be featured in GourMeta Journal, and showcase your achievements globally.

Go to Global Profile. Your WRID profile including recipes, NFTs, and achievements will be displayed internationally on the WRID Chefs list and the WORLD GASTRONOMERS |Global Master Chefs Association 

1. What is WRID?

WRID (World Recipe ID) is a global platform for identifying, registering, and authenticating recipes. Each recipe receives a unique ID that links it to its creator, supporting intellectual property rights, authenticity, and traceability.

2. Who can join WRID?

Anyone involved in the culinary field—including chefs, food writers, researchers, industry professionals, supporters, or enthusiasts—can register and become a member.

3. What is a WRID code?

A WRID is a unique digital identifier (like a DOI or ISBN) assigned to each recipe, ensuring authorship protection and digital certification.

Visit the Membership Registration page, choose your role (e.g., recipe author, contributor, partner), and complete the registration form.

 

6. What membership levels are available?

7. Can I change my membership role later?

Yes, you can request to change your role by contacting our support team or updating your profile settings.

8. How can I claim authorship of a recipe?

First, you need to register on the site. Then, you can submit a form to either register a new recipe or claim an existing one.

 

9. Can I edit the WRID of my recipe later?
  • Yes, if the recipe has not been published yet. Once published, edits require an official update request.

10. Can I submit previously published recipes?

Yes, but you must provide proof of original authorship, such as a publication link or ownership certificate.

12. I’m getting an error when uploading a recipe or file — why?
  • Check the format and file size. We accept formats like PDF, DOCX, JPG, and PNG, and files should be under 5MB.

13. Which browsers work best with WRID?

We recommend updated versions of Google Chrome, Firefox, or Safari for the best experience.

16. Does WRID protect my recipes?

Yes. Each WRID acts as a digital certificate of ownership and authorship that verifies and secures your recipe across platforms.

 

17. What happens if someone copies my recipe?
  • WRID provides digital proof and registration to support your authorship claim. While legal actions remain the author's responsibility, we can supply official WRID documentation to defend your rights.
